Cyber Habibi, a Tunisian artist based in France, is known for her musical versatility, ranging from chill rave and techno to Raï and psychedelic trance. She expresses her emotions and interactions through unique sets.

On the evening of the inauguration, Menart Fair is inviting choreographer and director Mehdi Kerkouche to take part in an original collaboration with his event On Danse Chez Vous at Chaillot – Théâtre national de la danse.
Performance by Stessy Emelie who will become the canvas for Samy Snoussi, a painter based in Morocco.

On the evening of the inauguration, guests will be treated to a musical and choreographic performance of “El Baladi” – or belly dancing – by Lebanese dancer Alexandre Paulikévitch, accompanied by French harpsichordist Laure Vovard, to Préludes by Louis and François Couperin (18th century).

A 53-minute programme of artists’ videos will showcase 4 films whose underlying theme is that of an end, a break-up or the expectation of change.

Exhibition programme: museums and institutions

Several exhibitions (museums, foundations, institutions) are presenting a selection of works from their MENA collections – with Le Cercle de l’art (Paris), Afkhami Foundation (Dubai), The Farjam Foundation (Dubai), iii Museum (Zurich), Le Consulat Voltaire (Paris) and Montresso Art Foundation (Marrakech).

Children are not forgotten during Menart Fair!
Special events are organised for children to explain the works on display. The Louis Vicat Foundation is also organising a workshop for children and adults to make moulded objects from Prompt natural cement.

The Palais de Tokyo welcomes Laure d’Hauteville, founder and director of the fair, and Joanna Chevalier, artistic director, for a conference entitled “Menart Fair, from modernity to contemporary art in the Middle East, North Africa and the Persian Gulf countries”.
